Fake perfume containing urine is being sold by dodgy traders in the run-up to Christmas.

Trading Standards officers who visited a market stall at Finmere, Oxfordshire, found a bottle of fake Chanel No 5 containing urine.

They fear more rogue traders may have copied the idea, reports The Star.

Aspokesman: "It is the perfect mixture for perfumes. Obviously it hasn't got the same smell, but it's the same colour and has the same stinging feel on the skin, similar to after-shave. I don't think ladies would appreciate this as a Christmas present, though.

"The typical person selling this sort of thing operates from an illegal stall down the High Street - just like Del Boy from Only Fools and Horses."

He added: "We urge people to avoid buying cheap versions of perfume and stick to the real thing. They are cheap for a good reason. These people generally couldn't care less what they put in a bottle - as long as it sells.

"We can only urge people to buy goods from reputable stores and to make sure they get a receipt."
